The city:

Segovia, a city to be visited at a leisurely pace, and more than once, has been distinguished with every official acknowledgement for its artistic and monumental heritage, for its clear light, for the luxuriance of the trees that surround it and which, in sheer contrast with the ochre colouring of the dry soil around it, sets it off as a green oasis.

The culture:

Concerts, Exhibitions, Festivals such as Titirimundi, the European Film Festival of Segovia or the Hay Festival Segovia keep this city alive, vibrating, making it rediscover its own nooks and crannies every month in a different, artistic way. Today it may be a re-enactment of life in Roman times and tomorrow, a live concert on the terrace of any small café. Culture is one of the constants in Segovia’s social life throughout the year. There’s always something to do in Segovia.

The gastronomy:

The Roman, Sephardic and Castilian heritages make Segovia one of the world’s most famous gastronomic destinations. And we shouldn’t forget the new cuisine, which has also found its niche here, much to the delight of everyone’s palate.

The nature:

Surrounded by leafy valleys and not far from the Segovia mountain range, this city and its province have a variety of natural resources at the visitor’s disposal. Perfect to take a break from routine.

Unforgettable experiences:

Segovia and its province have an enormous potential when it comes to finding social activities, castles, palaces, cellars and protected natural areas.

The entire province is a safe bet if what you want are outdoor activities and active tourism.
