Welcome

As President of the World Heritage Cities of Spain Group, the association that unites the fifteen Spanish cities featured on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, I am pleased to announce the Second Meeting of European World Heritage Associations, which will take place in Segovia (Spain), on the 20th and 21st of October, 2016.

With this initiative, we will continue the work that the French Association of World Heritage Sites began in 2015 with great success in the First Meeting in Strasbourg, which will allow us to keep defining new lines for cooperation and common work, as well as consolidating this forum to ensure its continuity and to make it a benchmark in the management of European Cultural Heritage.

It would be an honour for us to have you, therefore we would like to invite you to come to Segovia.

Yours,

Elena del Campo Nevado
Mayor of Cáceres
President
World Heritage Cities of Spain Group.
